Yes, you're right, 7.5 is not the same as 100. So it looks like the
predicted base rate is where the error is then, although that is still
significantly higher than it's supposed to be.
Where do you find the mutation rates for each marker published? I though
those had not been released, or is this something you're calculated?.

What has a "predicted mutation rate of .0002"? Maybe my old pal DYS455?
7 1/2 times larger is not the same as 100 times larger. I wish to point out
nothing more than mutation rate for 391 is thought to be .00265 and
mutation rate for 458 is thought to be .00814
