OK. I think those are the Lemba of South Africa. The other group I've
heard of are the Abayudaya of Uganda. They're converts. Officially
converted within the last year I believe.

There were several operations and the bulk of the Ethiopian Jews had been
removed by the early 90's but some continued to trickle out until 1999.
I need to point out that the Ethiopian Jews are different from the black
Jews Judy has been talking about. The Ethiopian Jews were long known; the
group Judy is talking about was only discovered in the 20th century and only
fairly recently confirmed by DNA testing for the Cohenic gene, although I
must add that they always knew who they were.
