MARGUERITE I. BLAIS, 72, of Davenport, Fla., and formerly of Cumberland,
a homemaker and librarian, died Friday at Heart of Florida Regional
Medical Center, Davenport.
She was the wife of Donald Blais; they had been married for 48 years.
Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Ovela and Alma (Bessette)
Delude, she had lived in Cumberland for 22 years before moving to
Florida in 1995. She had been a librarian at the Polo Park (Fla.)
Library. Mrs. Blais was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, in
Clermont, Fla. Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Alan G. Blais
of Clinton, Md., Michael A. Blais of Columbia, S.C., and Mark S. Blais
of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Linda A. of Cumberland and Maureen
A. of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Rita Proulx of Pawtucket; and four
grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday
at 3 p.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, Clermont.
