Hi Helen
Yes there are quite a few of both names. Remember though this is a good
century earlier than when you are researching. They all have fairly common
names except for mention of a burial of Isaiah Ferguson and the burial of
Ann and then Sarah the wives of Doctor Ferguson. At least though you know
they were probably in the Belfast area a long time.

Hi LYn,
I am searching for my family also from this area. My grandfather was born
in Denmark Street Belfast in 1888. His parents were married in the same
parish in 1881. Would the names FERGUSON and ADAMS be in your book.
Thanks
Helen

Hello Lyn
You listed as follows: The book I have is called Register of the Parish of
Shankill Belfast 1745-1761, Edited by Raymond Gillespie and Alison O'Keefe,
published by Representative Church Body Library, Dublin, 2006. This was the
parish Church before St Anne's in Belfast.
Any chance you can look up a family member for us, please? Is there an index
or is any look up a major exercise. Hope we not asking too much.
John
