Subject: [NYALBANY] Montanye's

It's great to see some info on the Montanye's on the list...I don't see
stuff very often. I have pretty much the same line as Jean Cromwell...with
a few different bits and pieces...
Johannes De La Montagne m. Rachel de Forest
Jan Monier De La Montagne m. Maria Vermilye
Abram De La Montagne m. Rebecca Van Huyse
Ide (Edward) Montanye m. Elizabeth
Edward Montanye m. Elizabeth Wintersteen
James Montanye m. Keziah
Abram C. Montanye m. Hannah Covenhoven
Phoebe Ann Montanye m. Silas Gallup
Edith Gallup m. Orlando Gage
I have quite a bit of info on the Montanye and De Forest family, some on the
Vermilye and Van Huyse Family, quite a bit on the Wintersteen line (see
below)...and a great deal on the Gallup and Gage line...the one that has
been the most difficult os the Covenhoven or Conover line. No one seems to
know where Hannah comes from...I would love to correspond with anyone
looking at these families...
