I received some newspaper notices and certs in today's mail that included
information outside the scope of my research for the WALLACE and ROSEBERRY
families of Marietta. I hope someone can use the information.

From the Marietta Register newspaper, Friday, March 27, 1863, Page 3, column
4:

BIRTHS
GABLE - On the 14th inst., a daughter to Lewis GABLE, of this city.

MARRIAGES
CLEM-KINNEY-At the Harmar House, Harmar, O., March 19, 1863, by Rev. I.F.
KING, Mr. George CLEM, of Belpre, to Miss Esther KINNEY.

DEATHS
ANDERS-In Center Belpre, of consumption, March 23d, Miss Georgiana ANDERS,
in the 19th year of her age.

In all her somewhat protracted sickness she complained but little, and was
remarkably patient. She was a good girl, considerate, gentle and kind. For
one so young, she possessed unusual faith in her divine Redeemer, and love
for her Heavenly Father; and awaited with anxious longing for the time to
arrive when God should sent his Angel to deliver her from the bondage of
this body, and bid her come home to her heavenly rest.

Her remains were brought to Harmar - to the residence of H.W. SMITH, where,
before burial, religious services were held and consolitory (sic) remarks
made to relatives and friends by the writer. M.

MARRIAGE CERT
John SHIPTON to Jane McKENNA
This is to Certify that on the 18th day of March 1863 I joined in matrimony
Miss Jane McKENNA and Mr. John SHIPTON by virtue of a License for that
purpose.
