Funeral services for Terry Lee Shipley, 50, a resident of the Childers
Community, who died at her home Friday, February 16, 2001, were held Monday,
February 16, 2001, were held Monday, February 19, in the Childers Full
Gospel Church with the Reverend Shirley Randall officiating. Interment
will follow in Martin Cemetery, under the direction of Benjamin Funeral
Service of Nowata.

Terry Lee began this life January 22, 1951 in Nowata as the daughter of
Clyde "Toad" and Helen Louise Shirk Cline. She attended the Nowata schools
until the tenth grade and finished her education in the Alluwe school.
She lived all her life in the Nowata area. Terry met and was later united
in marriage with Kenny Shipley on May 6, 1975 at Neosho, Missouri. Terry
Lee worked for home health for five years and as a beautician. She was
a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren.

Mrs. Shipley is survived by her husband, Kenny Shipley of the home, by
two sons: Dewayne Hester of Ramona and Danny Hester and his wife, Tracy,
of Childers; by two sisters, Johnie Lynn Richardson of Jackson Hole, Wyoming
and Janice Sue Lay of Pryor, a special cousin, Raymond Cline of Nowata;
four grandchildren: Terri McKee, Ashlyn Hester, Kyndra Hester and Sheridyn
Hester, other relatives and many friends.

Terry Lee was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Louise Cline; by her
father, Clyde B. "Toad" Cline and more recently by her step-mother, Dorotha
Cline on January 30, 2001.

The family suggests that friends who wish may remember the 10-33 Emergency
Team at 321 East Cherokee in Nowata.
