I've done this and still do not get the icons when using GenSmarts from
within TMG7. I copied the folder named 'buttons' and the folder named
'graphics' from the TMG7 program folder to the folder given below for XP
replacing the existing folders.

This did not APPEAR to work but the actual problem was the list window in
GenSmarts as accessed thru TMG7 had resized itself the column width was so
wide it pushed the icon columns off to the right. All is now well. I post
this in case this may be someone else's problem as well.

There is no problem with the TMG GenSmarts screen per se. The problem is
missing icons (which is a different problem<g>).

If you COPY the _buttons_ and the _graphics_ folders from the program
folder to the shared program data file folder replacing the two existing
folders, the TMG GenSmarts screen problem will be resolved.

The target folder is:

Windows Vista
C:\ProgramData\The Master Genealogist v7

Windows XP and Windows 2000
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\The Master Genealogist

If you don't understand my explanation above, please read the Data File
Storage topic in help.

Remember to _copy_ the folders, not move the folders. With Windows Explorer,
you open both the program folder and the shared program data file folder and
drag the folders while right-clicking your mouse and drop the folders into
the target folder. When you get the right-click menu, select 'Copy'.

The problem comes from a bug in Visual FoxPro 9. When the buttons and
graphics folders were copied during data file relocation, all of the image
files in these two folders were not copied so when the program looks in the
shared program data file folder for the icon images, they are missing.
