Re: [TNMONROE-L] Dica Ann GILES-
was Re: Are The reason that you can't find it in
Monroe
County....... Is that believe it or not it is listed
in
Loudon County! It is in one of those spots that if you
drive a short piece out the road you will be in a
different County. It is actually in Philadelphia,
Tennessee. ... You go down interstate 75 South.
Get off at the Oakland Road, Sweetwater Exit turn
right, and in just a very short distance, watch for
the sign, on the left. [Betty G]

The New Hope Methodist Church and cemetery are
actually located in Loudon County, TN, near the Monroe
County line. They are on New Hope Church Road.
Directions are: Get off I 75 at Pond Creek
Road west and turn left on New Hope Church Road.

That is the cemetery off Oak Grove
Rd. Maybe when I get back from my vacation, I can get
over there and take a photo of the stone. Tenn. death
certs. weren't kept till 1908 but it wasn't until 1914
they gave parents' names. I've looked at the index of
obits in the Madisonville paper that Glenn did and she
isn't shown, however there are many missing papers.
