Joy and Betty, the 1870 date of Loudon Co formed out
of Monroe Co is of course exactly what I frequently
forget and is precisely what I'm going to have to keep
in mind in future when researching this family. For
the 1870 census, JC and Dicy GILES were listed as
living in
District 4, Monroe Co,TN in the Philadelphia PO area.
That of course gibes completely with your comment,
Betty, that the church Dicy is buried in is actually
in Philadelphia.
Thanks again for all your help.
